Hello, I am Tandameshia Hastings. I recently graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University with a B.A. in public relations and international relations in May 2012. I am currently seeking an entry-level position in public relations.
Throughout my childhood, high school, college and up until now, I have been an individual who stares adversity in the face. I am persistent in achieving my aspirations for excellence. I do not quit at the first sign of trouble, I use the knowledge I have to resolve the issue at hand as well as reach out for guidance and advice from the experts I have encountered in various fields. In order to find a solution to various problems, I understand I have to be innovative and employ skillsets from every venue in my life to create and develop a clean, concise and effective (and original) plan, of which progress can be measured over time. I am passionate about helping prospective and first-generation college students achieve their goals and graduate college. I am also eager to close the achievement and knowledge gaps that exist in the United States. I am also interested in pursuing opportunities that allow me to work in cross-cultural communications and international education between the U.S. and China, increasing accurate knowledge about American people of color in Asia.
